CNI & Information

CNI has a strong commitment to transparency. As part of this commitment we have made available thousands of pages of documentation on our website regarding the Airport Link projects -Airport Link, Northern Busway (Windsor to Kedron) and the Airport Roundabout Upgrade - including but not limited to the:

Project Deed (tabled in the Qld Parliament)

Full suite of contractual arrangements between the State and BrisConnections for the delivery of the projects (State Project Documents). These documents are available on the CNI website and include:

  • Contractual arrangements for all three projects;
  • Technical specifications;
  • Drawings and plans for the projects; and
  • Arrangements to access land required for the projects.

Key contractual and commercial arrangements entered into by BrisConnections with third parties to deliver the projects (Consortium Project Documents). This includes:

  • the Design and Construct Contract, Operations and Maintenance Contract
  • Debt Documents; and
  • Equity Documents

CNI strongly believes that some of its operations and deliberations on other commercial matters are confidential. We are overseeing projects worth around $5 Billion. Like all major projects of this size we hold significant amounts of commercially sensitive information and information owned by third parties involved in the project. We believe confidentiality must be maintained in order to protect  the interests of Queensland taxpayers.

In addition to the publicly available information listed above we provide answers to questions through our communications and property team hotlines, and our email for inquiries. CNI also attends the monthly Community Liaison Group meeting and regularly provides community members with detailed answers to their question via letter, email, face to face briefings and at community information sessions throughout the year.

CNI has not been subject to RTI to date. While the Information Commissioner has recently made a determination on this issue CNI is appealing the decision.

Should you be seeking information that we are able to provide without breaching our duties regarding commercial arrangements or privacy rules we will endeavour to provide detailed and timely responses. Requests for information can be emailed to info@cni.qld.gov.au
