About City North Infrastructure

City North Infrastructure Pty Ltd (CNI) is a wholly State Government-owned company established to manage the procurement of Airport Link and Northern Busway (Windsor to Kedron) on the State’s behalf.

The CNI team comprises a group of highly experienced individuals from the private and public sectors with an exceptional combination of skills including:

Land acquisition

CNI has a dedicated property team responsible for all acquisitions of land required for the Airport Link and Northern Busway (Windsor to Kedron) projects.

The property team’s focus is to manage the acquisition of land for the projects either by negotiation or formal resumption and to obtain vacant possession for handover to the contractor before the land is required for construction.

The property team works closely with the Department of Main Roads, which CNI has engaged to conduct property acquisitions for the projects. All compensation is assessed on a case-by-case basis under the Acquisition of Land Act 1967.
