Planning for Completion

Construction has been underway on the Airport Link and Northern Busway (Windsor to Kedron) and the Airport Roundabout Upgrade since November 2008.

The Airport Roundabout Upgrade was completed ahead of schedule in February 2011.

BrisConnections advised the ASX on April 30 that it had reached practical completion for the Northern Busway (Windsor to Kedron).

Construction of the new toll-road is scheduled for practical completion on or before August 20 this year (Leightons issued a statement to the ASX on 7 May 2012). Major construction works are expected to be complete in June and the remaining work will include the completion of the mechanical and electrical fitout, safety testing and final commissioning.

Like other major projects, residents can expect to see work crews continuing to make adjustments and putting the finishing touches on some elements of the project after this date.
